For DEREE undergraduate students with the American College of Greece

The Libra Internship Program is a first-of-its-kind combined study abroad/internship program in Greece designed exclusively for DEREE undergraduate students. The program launches in Spring 2012, initially selecting 10 students for study abroad and work placement with the Libra Group or its subsidiaries around the world. Interns will be familiarized with practices across our diverse business sectors which primarily span shipping, aviation, hotel ownership and management, real estate and renewable energy. The Libra Group’s 22 key international locations include New York, Miami, London, Athens, Beijing, and Buenos Aires.

Host university housing and meal plan costs will be covered by a Libra bursary during the semester of study abroad. The internships will include a fixed grant towards transportation and living expenses for the students selected.

For students with the Greek America Foundation

Ten summer internships are also available for students from North America via the Greek America Foundation.  Again these students will undertake full-time placements at the Libra Group or one of its subsidiaries which are involved primarily in  shipping, aviation, hospitality, real estate and renewable energy, at one of the group’s 22 key international locations. The internships will include a fixed grant towards transportation and living expenses for selected students.
